| My name is Charlie and I'm looking to rent a room for 4-5 months in March. Yes unfortunately I am a holiday visa holding type from the UK but please do not dismiss too quickly! I am not a backpacker. I am moving to Melbourne for a minimum of 4 months to spend time with my brother who is a permanent resident.
I'm 30 years old and looking set up some sort of stability and routine … and of course make friends and form a social life. I'm a happy character, looking for a humble home, don't need fancy, don't mind clutter and content with a small room. All I ask is that it's clean and comfy. I love animals so any pets wouldn't be a problem (I'd even help with walking and feeding is required). I'm friendly and easy to get on with. I love food, wine ,films, theatre, music enjoy cooking and going out. It's hard to describe myself without sounding contrived. Ideally I would like to live with people of a similar age but open to all suggestions. I already have some leads on work so will be earning and I can provide references.
I am looking to arrive between 10th-15th March. Preferrably I’d be looking at the following areas - St Kilda, Richmond, Collingwood, Fitzoy, Balaclava, Elsternwick. I can provide letters of recommendation.
