| Hi, my name is Jacqui and I'm a Canadian coming to Australia to teach. I will be arriving in Melbourne July 31 and would love to find a new home.
I am staying in Melbourne for 1 year to teach and would love to join a group of people who are friendly and easy-going. Or if it's a single bedroom, I can definitely accommodate!
A little about me -
I am really easy-going and friendly. In Toronto, I live on my own so I'm used to cleaning up after myself and maintaining the bills (I always pay on time, so no need to worry). I sometimes like to go out on weekends, but there will be times when I just want to curl up in bed and watch movies.
I'm respectful of other people's privacy and belongings. It goes both ways -- for example, I wouldn't invite people over in the middle of the night being loud and I hope that I can expect the same; especially since I have early mornings to teach.
I love to make new friends, especially now that I will be in a different country. So hopefully if you're interested in giving a try, we can be good friends. I don't mind living with females or males, or animals for that matter. So long as they're potty-trained.... and the animals of course. lol
I'd really like a place that's near the city and definitely near transit as I will be needed to get around alot. I'm interested in area that is affordable for rent and for nightlife/eating out. So far the areas I'm interested are: collingwood, footscray, fitzroy, kensington, docklands, fitzroy, footscray, melbourne, richmond, south yarra, and southbank.
The closer to the city/transit the better!
