| I live in a lovely bright and sunny second floor renovated two-bedroom apartment with security entrance. Consists of a large modern separate kitchen with gas cooking and microwave oven, spacious living room with opening to small balcony, shared central bathroom with shower over bath and a separate toilet. There’s a shared laundry with a dryer downstairs and off-street parking provided for one car if required at an additional cost. Great location within walking distance of shopping strips, restaurants and bars in Elwood, Ripponlea, Balaclava, Elsternwick and St Kilda, Elsternwick Reserve, St Kilda Botanical Gardens and Elwood/St Kilda beaches. Public transport is a breeze with the tram, train and buses (including one direct to Chadstone Shopping Centre) all within a few minutes’ walking distance.
Room available is a fully-furnished standard-size bedroom with a double bed, bedside table, chest of drawers, freestanding wardrobe with shelves, lamp and desk with drawers and a chair. Please note current flatmate is in the process of moving out and these photos will be updated once the room has been tidied and cleaned. Rent, including all shared expenses, is $888 PCM payable monthly in advance. Bond is $800.
I’m friendly, sociable, independent, considerate and respectful of other peoples’ space and privacy. I'm usually very quiet and low-key at home during the week and regularly out and about catching up with friends on weekends. My home is my sanctuary for relaxing and I spend most of my free time watching movies and catching up on my favourite TV shows. I’m also into photography, spending time at the beach, rollerblading, travelling, music and sporadic jewellery-making when the mood takes me.
I’m looking for someone who is trustworthy, reliable, independent, considerate and respectful of others' personal space and belongings. Will do their bit to keep shared areas clean and tidy, is friendly, easy to get along with and happy to do his/her own thing. Ideally a non-smoker aged between 30-40, employed full-time or a student, who likes to get out and about a fair bit or spends a lot of time studying. Someone who enjoys cooking would be a bonus! I'm keen to share with someone who’s also environmentally conscientious and prefer a long-term arrangement.
