| I am currently searching for a housemate(s) to share my amazing 3br apartment on the banks of the Maribyrnong River looking out over the city of Melbourne. It has two storeys (upstairs living quarters and downstairs are the bedrooms) 3 bathrooms (one is the master ensuite), two balconies and two secure car spaces.
Just a four minute walk from the newly renovated Footscray Station but nestled in the peaceful and friendly pocket by the river, the convenience of everything close by amazes people who discover this secret gem of an area. The apartment block is new and secure and surrounded by beautiful parks and the amazing Happy River cafe right next door! Such is the ease of the lifestyle this location offers, I’ve discovered that I’m only using my car once a fortnight these days, however secured parking is included for an extra housemate also.
I am a 39yo professional who works in the CBD and am really easy to get along with. I am neat and responsible but definitely not boring or standoff-ish. I like to share my living space with like-minded people who are friendly and also enjoy conversation. Having said that, I’m also very respectful of a housemates privacy and needs.
I have a cat named Poppy and although she won’t really mix well with another cat, she does love dogs. Since there is no yard on this second floor apartment, large outside dogs would not work well in this instance.
I have all my own furniture and appliances so all you would need to furnish is the bedroom itself.
Don’t be put off by the postcode, because if you were to experience the area and appartment yourself, you’d be amazed that the rent is not double what it is.
